EQUESTRIAN TOURNAMENT IN JUMPING

With support of City Municipality of Palilula in Gornje Medjurovo was held Second international equestrian tournament in jumping – “Cup St Petka 2010”. Boban Mikic, member of the Council of the City Municipality of Palilula welcomed guests of this years manifestation. “It is pleasure to participate in creation of already traditional manifestation that is organizing in the village in Gornje Medjurovo. We are grateful to equestrian club “Nonius” that their enthusiasm to promote on every way this sport but and own village Gornje Medjurovo. Village it is not only agriculture but also and National Handicraft, development of rural tourism but and manifestation that is promoting life in rural areas. I want to welcome to all guests – stressed Mikic and especially to the participants of this Cup 2010, to the clubs: Mbn 1995 Belgrade, Divadjo – Belgrade hippodrome, KK Arandjelovac, KK Kremen Pancevo, Kennel horse Zitkovac and to the host of the Cup KK “Nonius” in Gornje Medjurovo.
Opening of the manifestation “ Cup St Petka 2010” visited and president of the Assembly of the CM Palilula Milan Djurdjevic, member of the Council of the City of Nis Boban Mihajlovic, head of Administration of Rural Development of the City of Nis Aleksandra Brzakovic.
Results in jumping this year per game is:1st Game; First place Miljana Miljkovic KK Nonius; 2nd Game: first place Marija Ilic; Kennel horse Zitkovac; 3rd Game for children and ponies; first place Suncica Milenkovic KK Kremen Pancevo. Competition this year it was supported: city municipalities Palilula, Pantelej and Medijana, Administration of Rural Development, Administration of Education, Culture and Sport, Veterinary Institute, Agricultural Extension Service “Agrorazvoj”.
